What is HGH?
HGH stands for human growth hormone. It’s a hormone comprised of an amino acid that the body produces naturally in the pituitary gland. HGH has an effect on every cell in the human body. Because of this, it’s often referred to as the “master hormone.”
What does HGH do?
HGH stimulates protein formation in the cells of the organs, the bones, and the muscles, allowing them to expand vertically. This is why the substance is called the “growth hormone” - it allows humans to grow taller.
HGH is capable of some other amazing feats, too. It increases bone strength, it decreases fat, it increases muscle mass, it helps control blood glucose, and it provides the immune system with a powerful boost. HGH also has the ability to improve the appearance and quality of the skin by increasing its elasticity.
Unfortunately, as humans get older, their levels of HGH decline. This decline begins around the age of 21, but it accelerates with age. This might be why adults tend to gain weight, lose muscle mass, and experience increasing levels of fatigue over the years.
The research
In a 1990 issue of the New England Journal of Medicine, a study conducted by Dr. Daniel Rudman was revealed about HGH’s effect on age. Overweight men over 60 who were treated with the drug experienced a 14% decrease in body fat while increasing their muscle mass by almost 9%. Amazingly, these men did not decrease their caloric intake nor did they increase their activity.
St. Louis University School of Medicine’s Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism conducted a study that found that obese men and women who were given low dose HGH lost body fat and increased their levels of beneficial HDL cholesterol.
The Journal of the American Medical Association reports another interesting study. Studies on healthy elderly men and women who received HGH showed that the subjects experienced an increase in lean body mass and a decrease in body fat.
How is HGH delivered?
HGH is available through pills, oral sprays, and injections. The oral supplements and sprays have been shown to be largely ineffectual because it’s difficult for the body to absorb HGH in this manner. The most effective and reliable method of delivering HGH is through injection, which is done by a physician.
Many patients receiving the HGH injections report weight loss, an increase in lean muscle mass, lower blood pressure, and increased stamina.
Should you consider HGH?
Adults over the age of forty typically gain weight and lose muscle mass as part of the aging process. This happens even if you don’t change your eating or exercise patterns. Buy HGH might be the answer you’ve been seeking. Only your physician can decide if HGH is right for you.
